The Brighton Bandstand Campaign was founded in 2007 by Patricia
Horne, Sue Cartright and Meg Stone, all local Hove residents. They
share a passion and love for the Brighton Bandstand and would like
to see it restored to it's former glory. Together they have formed
the non-profit organisation known as the Brighton Bandstand
Campaign, and have been working closely with the Brighton Council
to ensure that the Bandstand's profile is raised and that
restoration is imminent.
The Brighton Bandstand Campaign has gathered a lot of support. In
just the first three weekends of May over 1,000 signatures of
support were gathered! The Argus has been attentive and generous
with coverage of their efforts, and every plan suggested to the
council thus far has been met with eager approval.
